Organised by Newquay Board Riders and proudly sponsored by Northshore Surf Shop, this event is more than just a competition; it's a celebration of young talent, development, and the pure joy of surfing. With categories for U6, U8, U10, and U12, there's a spot for every budding surfer to shine.
This Year’s First Event
This Friday 21st June 2024, (surf depending, so check in on our socials nearer the time) young surfers and spectators will gather at the iconic Fistral Beach for the first event of the Northshore Pro Cadets Series 2024. Fistral Beach is renowned for its consistent waves and vibrant surf culture, making it the perfect venue for our young competitors to showcase their talent.
Organised by the dedicated team at Newquay Board Riders and sponsored by Northshore Surf Shop, this event aims to highlight and support young surfers. The series is more than just a competition; it’s a platform to promote the next generation of surfers. By supporting these young athletes, we contribute to the growth and future of the sport.

Recap of Last Year's Series
Last year's Northshore Pro Cadets Series was a phenomenal success, with impressive performances from young surfers across multiple events. The series saw a significant number of entries, enthusiastic participation, and outstanding surfing skills. One of the highlights was Raffie Mullins' highest scoring wave and the close finals in various age categories. The spirit of camaraderie and competition was palpable, making it a memorable season.
